The Sacred Cow Of Effluent Treatment

Our client, one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of agricultural chemicals, pesticides, fungicides, and intermediates, was dealing with multiple issues at their effluent treatment plant (ETP) in Gujarat.

They had been using cow dung in their ETP for the treatment of effluents.

As is often the case though, cow dung was proving ineffective. Microbes present in cow dung are not equipped to manage the stresses of an industrial ETP, and high COD/BOD, toxic shock loads, and high TDS were hindering the efficient functioning of our client’s ETP.

The major concerns they asked for our help in resolving were ineffective reduction of COD and high TDS.

After a thorough analysis of the problems, our team decided on bioaugmentation of the biological system. It was time for our star, CleanMaxx, to make an entrance.

CleanMaxx is our research-backed, proven consortium of 76-90 different strains of microbes that help in the effective reduction of wastewater parameters.

Isolated from soil, these microbes secrete enzymes that are natural and safe.

The results we got with CleanMaxx were immediate and spectacular. The effluent generated at the ETP contained very high proportions of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).

The microbes present in cow dung could not survive at this high range of TDS, resulting in ineffective treatment of the effluent.

After using CleanMaxx, a significant reduction in COD was observed within a month, and the microbes present in CleanMaxx could easily handle and survive in the high TDS of the effluent and carry out biodegradation effectively.

Here is what our clients had to say about our treatment plan.

“We have been using CleanMaxx in our Effluent Treatment Plant for the past 2 years, and it has helped in improving the performance of bioreactors. Your product has helped in the quick stabilization of our plant and restores quickly to any plant upsets. It has helped us to be compliant with our effluent discharge standards.”

With CleanMaxx, the desired parameters were achieved at the end of the project, the ETP was stabilized, and the efficiency of the plant was improved to the desired levels.
