URL to a Location Inside a PDF<\/h2>\n

It turns out, there is no way to specify a URL to a bookmark
Here\u2019s how to jump to a place inside a PDF from a link by using what is called \u201cNamed Destinations\u201d. Note these are not Bookmarks. Links to Bookmarks do not work.<\/p>\n

Here is an example link that will work: : http:\/\/SharePoint\/dept\/abc\/Shared%20Documents\/Test%20document%20for%20anchoring3.pdf#nameddes<\/p>\n

See the URL above, note there\u2019s a \u201c#\u201d then \u201cnameddest=\u201d then the named destination called \u201cdest3\u201d. This works.<\/p>\n

 \r\n#nameddest=[destination] in this case, I have a named destination I created called \u201cdest3\u201d\r\n<\/pre>\n
Note these are not bookmarks:
1. Use Adobe Acrobat X<\/p>\n
2. Edit the PDF<\/p>\n
3. Enable viewing of named destinations, by clicking \u201cView, Show\/Hide, Navigation Panes, destinations, see image below<\/p>\n
4. Click \u201cDestinations\u201d below \u201cBookmarks\u201d icon on left pane. See below:<\/p>\n
